i've been so excited about moving that i've practically lost all interest in eating. yesterday, i didn't eat anything until about 4pm. i feel hungry but then i don't feel like eating anything. i lay awake in bed at night and i keep having difficulty sleeping and i wake up in the morning feeling like a zombie. i can't stop thinking, i can't shut my brain down and force it to rest. i'm just so excited! and it's making me ill

yesterday, we rented 2 discs of Ouran High School Host Club, and...I'VE NEVER LAUGHED SO MUCH WHILST WATCHING AN ANIME IN MY ENTIRE LIFE, my throat was hurting. at first it was a bit surreal and me and Apple were sat there thinking "WAT..." here's an approximate timeline:

i love Tamaki, he's such a fucking imbecile that i can't help but feel sorry for him. i got the same squickiness from watching William T Spears stamping on Grell's head and Honey is so cuuuuuuute! really, i can't think of a single character i disliked. the comedy is very fast-paced and it felt like my head was going to explode from all the quick movements and the bright colours were making my eyes bleed but i thought it was hilarious. yes, i enjoyed watching it very much and i can't wait to see more!

so, on Wednesday, we went to view the flat and meet the landlord. the flat turned out to only be one-bedroom, but seriously, it was TWICE THE SIZE of our current flat. the living room was huge, space enough for two sofas, a working desk and a dinner table and chairs the bathroom was pretty big as well and IT HAS A BATH! and the bedroom had room for our bed and all our shelving! i don't know how we're going to fill all this space with our minimal furniture so i think it will be a bit bare to start with, but that's ok. there's space in the hallway to store a bike, an airing cupboard to store towels etc. and it comes with a washing machine and a fridge freezer. i was very pleased indeed

the landlord is very nice and very friendly i'm glad he seems like a nice guy and very reasonable too. we don't have to pay extra on our deposit until we get the puppy so it'll be easier on our bank balances when we first move in. i think if i leaned out of the living room window, we'd be able to see the roundabout by Cabot Circus lol. it'll take Apple five minutes to walk to work so she won't have to get out of bed so early!

so we've got a month to pack our stuff and then we can move out of our little greenhouse and into our new big flat! GAH! I CAN'T WAIT!
